Leah Zabel

Leah Zabel obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Lincoln Law School in Sacramento and became a member of the California State Bar in 2013.  She joined the law firm of Jamison Chappel & Beaumont as an of counsel attorney in October 2022, where she practices real estate, contract, construction, and business law.  In her years of legal practice, she has developed and demonstrated a commitment to protection of core rights and processes that ensure the equitable administration of justice.  Ms. Zabel has experience in the federal regulatory context of environmental, land use, and administrative law, has juvenile court experience, and works closely with government agencies to reach resolutions.  Ms. Zabel is a Grievance Review Officer for administrative hearings under the California Child Abuse Central Index Act and is responsible for considering evidence and writing recommended decisions for various County Department of Health and Human Services, including relevant legal research and analysis. Ms. Zabel is also a knowledgeable and strategic administrative law attorney and hearing officer.
